Me

How much does a bespoke piece cost?

The price is governed by the gemstones ordered, the metal chosen and the complexity of the design. I work closely with you to work to a budget you’re happy with, my customers are usually very pleasantly surprised.

How much does a remodelled piece cost?

Typically prices start from around £500. I try to reuse as much of your original jewellery as possible, this can cut the cost of the new piece considerably. I always work to your budget, there are no hidden costs, you will never be given an invoice you’re not expecting.
If other gemstones or metal is required you will be given a quote before you decide to proceed.

When will I be asked to pay?

Our first consultation and subsequent drawings are free of charge. The “real life” CAD drawing cost £150 – £200 is payable once the design has been agreed. When you are happy with the CAD drawings, the design and materials, I require a 50% deposit to begin the work. The balance is due when your new jewellery is completed. The Cad drawing cost (£150 – £200) will be deducted from the final invoice. Payments can be made via PayPal or bank transfer.

If I’m not local to you how do we meet?

I’m based in Cambridgeshire, but don’t worry if you’re not local, we are fortunate to live in a digital world and most of my meetings are conducted on Zoom, WhatsApp, Messenger, Facetime or via email, whatever is convenient for you.

How long does the process take?

Most projects typically take between four to eight weeks depending on the complexity of the design. If you have important deadlines please let me know. As you can imagine, Christmas is a particularly busy time and it’s advisable to give me as much notice as possible.

Can I change my mind on the design?

I spend time with you to ensure the design, materials, drawings and CAD drawings are as perfect as they can be before you confirm your order as it’s difficult to change your design once production has started. If there is an issue please contact me quickly I’ll let you know what’s possible. There may be additional costs to change the design at this stage.

Do you offer refunds or returns?

Due to the bespoke nature of the designs, and the fact your own materials are used in an heirloom redesign, I do not offer returns or refunds. However, if you are not happy with the final piece, please get in touch so we can find a solution.

Do you offer lab-created gems and diamonds?

Absolutely! It is getting more and more difficult to see the difference and a lab-created gem can be a great choice, both as a budget choice and for those who prefer a ring with no connection to the mining process. I’m happy to quote for both options.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, I guarantee the workmanship and take responsibility for any structural defects for one year after delivery.

Do you offer resizing?

We try to get this right first time and can send you a free sizing kit as not all rings can be resized, however If the size still isn’t quite right, just let me know within fourteen days of purchase and I’ll do one resizing for free.

Certificate of Authenticity

All materials (metals, diamonds, and gemstones) are authentic and properly specified in your proposal agreement. Jewellery over £1000 will be dispatched with a receipt , this tells you how much to insure your ring for. If your diamond or gemstone is certified by GIA you will also receive a relevant certificate.

Can you insure my jewellery against loss or damage?

I don’t offer insurance myself but always recommend insuring your jewellery under your homeowners, renters, or individual jewellery insurance policy. This is a common practice and your insurer will be happy to provide you with a quote.

Do you provide gift and jewellry boxes?

My jewellery is presented in a custom designed jewellery boxes ready for any occasion.

Where do you source your Gems and Diamonds from.

I have many suppliers in the UK all of which offer conflict free stones. The diamonds I source comply with the 2003 Kimberley Process to prevent diamond purchases from financing civil wars across the world.
